Goossips: CDN, XML Sitemap and ALT Attributes – SEO & Engine News

Some information on Google (and sometimes Bing) and its search engine, gleaned here and there unofficially in recent days, with this week’s program some answers to these agonizing questions: Does using a CDN bring a “plus” in terms of SEO? Can we block the reading of XML Sitemaps to humans while accepting robots? Can we repeat the name of the website in the default empty ALT attributes?

Here is a small compilation of information provided by official Google spokespersons in recent days on various informal networks (Twitter, Hangouts, forums, conferences, etc.). So “gossips” (rumor) + Google = “Goossips” 🙂
