St. Mary's fire damages house

On September 27th, 2012, at 10:10 AM, Trepassey RCMP responded to a report of a house fire in St. Mary's, on The Point Road. Fortunately, at the time of the fire there was nobody inside the residence. The damage to the house was extensive, however due to the effort of the Riverhead - St. Mary's Fire Department, the structure itself had been saved. An RCMP Fire Investigator attended the scene, however the cause of the fire has yet to be confirmed.
The Trepassey RCMP would like to acknowledge the good work of the Riverhead - St. Mary's Volunteer Fire Department.
