Students at Laval were presented academic honours at the end of the school year in late June. Here is a comprehensive list of the presentations made at the end of year ceremony.

Congratulations to James Newhook who entered a video in the 2012 SAFE Work NL contest. James is a provincial winner and was awarded a cash prize of $1000.

Fine Arts awards were handed out in the areas of visual arts, drama and the musical. Inni Mangat was awarded the Cavalier Award which is an award that is presented to a student who has been extensively involved in a wide array of school activities.
Student of the Year award for 2011-2012 is Alex Hann.
