We didn't have a lot of entries in our Signs of Spring contest but the photos that came in beautifully illustrated the point of the contest - to indicate signs that bring home the point spring is finally here.

Check out our entries. The winner, Kathleen Smith, wins a six-month subscription to The Charter. Congratulations Kathleen.

Kathleen's winning entry was a wonderful photo of flowers growing from driftwood.

Other entries were from Sandra Smith, Harold Walters and Mary Urie. Ms. Urie was the only entry with a photo of something other than flowers. She took a photo of baby birds, another sure sign of spring.
